2012-08-28 07:22:50Dear students,
Welcome to Faculty of Computer Science, Unika Soegijapranata!
As you do not have access to the E-learning yet, you may get all information related to Computer Application class in this blog. I will inform you asap after your the e-Learning account has been set up.
Meanwhile, what you need to do are:
- Login to SINTAK (https://sintak.unika.ac.id) with your NIM and default password (your birthday, ddmmyy format)
- Update your details (address, phone number, email, etc)
- Change your password
SINTAK is your portal for many important access to academic information. You may get access to your academic report, financial report, and also academic evaluation. So, please login regularly.
Update of your phone number is important as you will be get important information via text messages (SMS) and also email. So make sure you put the latest phone number and email.
The other requirenment for this class is having the Google account. If you have gmail account, you are save. If not, please make one for you. Just go to http://mail.google.com
Why google account? In this cloud and mobile computing era, the computer application materials must be updated to latest technology. We won't learn desktop app (office, etc) anymore, but all will be online. So rather than learning Open Office (which I'm sure you have ever learned office at high school), we will learn Google docs.
Next week, we'll go to the lab and start to work on GOOGLE apps...
Cheers,
Aji
